Design Wales together with ten European partners just started a new 1.5 million euro project to share knowledge and experience on how design can be integrated into regional and national policies to boost innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, social and economic development.

The project, entitled 'Sharing Experience Europe - Policy, Innovation and Design' (co-financed by the EU), involves partners from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain, but will generate knowledge that will also be useful for other countries looking at improving or developing their own design and innovation policies.

Project leader Gisele Raulik Murphy of Design Wales is now looking for case studies and research papers on design policy, in particular:

- Case studies about national or regional design policies, design promotion programmes, or design support initiatives for SMEs.

- Academic papers in the field of design and innovation policies, measurement of design promotion effectiveness, and discussions of the rationale for design promotion and policies, or related topics.
