Continuing their affaires with brand-name designers, Target has pulled the wrapping off their new line of holiday doo-dads designed by famous dutch artist/designer Tord Boontje. Homepage nav doesn't have "designer collections" (curiously), but a quick search for "Tord" brings you a starting set of 19 objects, all with Boontje's trademark lacery-tracery rendered in various holiday iconongraphy. Pretty pretty.

Pretty holiday sets (i like the bowls), though I wonder if our world and environment needs more coated paper plates and cups especially from famous european desigers sold in North America for the holiday season... we can do better than that.
