You're probably drinking the wrong coffee. High quality, properly roasted coffee �like most all high quality beverages� improves in flavor as it approaches room temperature. This is not to say that it cant also be good hot or cold, but it should be best near room temp. Weird, but true.

Good coffee also doesn't taste like poo smells. So... there's that.

I drink milky coffee, so maybe that's why this cartoon rang true for me.

I recall reading in a Star Trek novel once (....wait, did I just admit to reading Star Trek novels??) that Klingons thought it was weird that humans tend to prefer out rinks either ice cold or steaming hot. This 'toon brought that to my mind.
