The International Council of Socities of Industrial Design (Icsid) has issued a call to designers in all disciplines to unite in an open dialogue with relief organizations to assess design-effective rehabilitation projects in Haiti. The primary goal of this initiative is "to think in order to act"—this is not a competition, it's up to you to initiate the conversation to make forward progress in Haiti. According to the Icsid, their immediate goal is to better understand the the relief efforts needed in order to facilitate the development of impactful design-led solutions.
So, whether you are a designer, academic, student or relief worker, please join the Facebook discussion at Uniting Designers in Disaster, and help Haiti now!

This is a very worth while effort and as a fellow designer i am very keen to offer my services and my companies.
Unfortunately the group on Facebook has either been suspended or they have shut the group as i cannot sign up to the group. Has anyone else been able to sign up?
