Thanks to the rise of individual and database portfolio sites, more design school graduates are getting smart with self-marketing strategies, a.k.a. putting their work on the web. Take heed from a young Miss Jenny Cobden, a recent graduate from Brighton University. Miss Cobden's site rocks because it is (a) fun to look at, (b) just interactive enough, (c) an honest and complimentary showcase of her work, and (d) not a flash site. Take note kidz : get your work out there into cyberspace and make it count.

Nice looking site. Took me a while to figure out I needed to scroll right, though. Could do with a usability improvement ;-)
i wonder why core77 marks such websites on their front page...tho it has all kinds of usability problems and above all it is not that interesting to see !!!
Thank you for a nice review, r.e. usability improvements, my thoughts exactly I havent technicaly finished the site/shown many people yet, quite a suprise to see it 'out and about' already!! will get to work on those ammendments...
usability issues are a given when starting up your own site. I have to commend Ms. Cobden b/c I think despite those issues her site is far superior still to many in the same vein. Most importantly, it's not FLASH. hehe. Rock on.
