
Portland, Ore.'s Dill Pickle Club - a "creative cultural club" whose mission is to bring us inhabitants to a better understanding of our locality through tours, publications and the like - is kicking off a 5-tour season next weekend. Past events have included designery topics such as How are things made? and Art for the Millions: The Enduring Legacy of the WPA. This year's program includes some logging, ghost towns and for the opening tour, a history of the 'hood Core77 has set up shop in.'
