This Thursday, the Illuminating Engineering Society of New York (IESNY) will host the first of a four-part series on the decreasingly popular incandescent bulb. The series will define in detail what incandescent really means, how it's being affected by the CFL movement, and the impact this transition has on lighting designers. The series will kick off with talks by lighting authorities from GE, Philips, and Sylvania.
