Once a year, during NeoCon, Chicago's young designers back moving trucks up to the loading dock in Fulton Market. Inside are miniature design exhibitions of their newest work, open for four hours to the Chicago public and NeoCon visitors from out of town.
For the past four years, the event has steadily grown, now thirty trucks large. This year, a few more design events have piggy-backed onto the lead taken by the truck show, teaming up to produce a one-night design blowout with a total of thirteen off-site venues.
Participating groups include Strand Design, Object Society, Studio Murmur, Object Design League, and Uncommon.
The whole thing goes down on Tuesday, June 15th, from 5:30-9pm, at the corner of Fulton and Aberdeen. The hours of individual venues may vary, so check the Guerrilla Truck Show Facebook page for more detailed information.
