If you're in Miami tomorrow, you'll wanna take in Design Marathon: Five Minutes of Designed Freedom, a rapid-fire 5-minute-each cagematch of 25 artist and graphic designers taking on the topic of freedom and democracy. (The event helps wrap up the recent "Thoughts on Democracy: Reinterpreting Norman Rockwell's Four Freedom Posters" exhibition. (I was honored to contribute this poster for the exhibition.)
Debbie Millman moderates, and the list of presenters is impressive. Free, and running from 12 noon through 6pm. At 5-minute intervals, presumably.
