iLounge has launched a "Design the Next iPhone" competition. They're looking for originality, innovation and a bit o' humor:
We will be looking for six total winners for this contest - three grand prize winners will receive Apple's next-generation iPhone, courtesy of iLounge, and three runners up will receive $100 iTunes Gift Cards. Our plan is to pick two winners with "advanced" iPhone designs, another two for "simplified" iPhone designs, and two more for funny iPhone designs. The grand prize winners will be our three favorite overall entries. Use these design ideas to inspire your work and you'll have the best shot at winning a next-generation iPhone of your own.

: iphone could be made a computer which will have a virtual keyboard using laser technology. So that we can type using that keyboard. Integrating the different browsers with it for internet use. Also the laser can be used as projector for presentation purpose. Basically make it a complete business phone. Also adding the navigation system would be amazing. Also we can make it a game console similar to PSP. So what i want from iphone is that it should help in corporate and professional world and also satisfy my gaming needs. I know it is asking to much but it is a dream....:)
My dream feature in I-phone will be:- 1. Direct Satellite Link Up - in areas with no signal (eg. during trekking , camping etc..) we might not be able to get signal. And in case of emergency we can ask for help by communicating through satellite. A person can pay for the service through his credit card. 2. Solar Cell Re-charging - Again for the same reason.. when we are out we may not be able to charge the phone. I-phone screen may serve as a solar cell through which we can re charge the phone. 3.BioMetrics - The locked phone can be unlocked by owner only. A hidden profile or Personal files can be locked and unlocked through biometrics . This will present us with a whole new sense of security on a mobile phone. 4.An Identification feature can also be added to it(threw finger print recognizer). All important identification information (License card, Address, Ph.Number in case of emergency etc..) can be known all at the touch of finger of owner.
