100% Light
We returned to the source yesterday to check in on the white carpet action at Earls Court (last day of 100% Design) - actually it held up pretty well considering. The 100% Light section was curtained off offering visitors multiple opportunities to interact with motion triggered installations, the most compelling was the immersive room pictured top, with giant raining light bulbs that smashed with a popping sounds when they hit the floor. Could've cranked the soundscape up a notch for more impact, although I could just be going deaf.

100% Detail
If you wanted to escape the crowds, 100% Detail was the place to be. There was a lot of great material samples to touch and architectural components to discover but it had all the hallmarks of a trade show and none of the seduction the neighboring exhibitions offered.

100% Design
Sunday's crowd was largely comprised of the general public and you couldn't help feeling a little sympathy for the designer's exhibiting who might have felt like they working retail for the day. Pictured above, the winning entry for the Blueprint's Best New Product Award, 'Log' by Naoto Fukasaw. Check back shortly for complete photo coverage in the core gallery.
