From June 1 - 29, 2007, the Art Director's Club will display DETOUR, an exhibition of 70 Moleskine notebooks created by 70 artists, designers, architects, filmmakers, writers, and illustrators like Cynthia Rowley, Sir Terence Conran, Michael Graves, Karim Rashid, Mike Figgis, Maira Kalman, Ross Lovegrove, Yves Behar, and Constantim Boym. In addition, a group of Parsons students taking the Illustration Narrative course were specially selected to record 2 months of their personal NYC experiences in Moleskine City Notebooks, which will also be shown alongside the others at DETOUR.
myDetour bridges the gap for us all with interactive installations located throughout New York CIty at seven retail locations from June 1 - 17, 2007. Each instillation will feature an example of a completed City Notebook and free-of-charge, poster-sized maps.
