If you're in London this week, check out the Southwark Lido by the French architectural collective EXYZT. Commissioned for the London Festival of Architecture, this temporary public installation is inspired by Roman baths and Turkish hammams. The goal? To foster urban renewal through community interaction. Within the low-tech/futuristic complex, visitors can enjoy showers on the deck, steamy saunas, kiddie paddling pools, beach huts, a sun deck and a bar. Sound good? Try it out yourself - EXYZT has designed some hilarious DIY paper scale models of the Lido. Check 'em out after the jump and get buildin' one in your city!
