A Technical Architect is a highly matrixed role responsible for software application architecture, use case discovery, and the recommendation of appropriate technology platforms/tools/practices. He/she evaluates deliverables to ensure that they meet established requirements and regularly authors and maintains design documents, database/schema models, software requirements specifications, and software architecture documents. In addition, the Technical Architect frequently leverages their creativity and technical savvy to guide proposals and client discussions to assist with business development efforts (within their own as well as other frog studios).
