Ok, so it's actually just a cassette tape table—no radio rips of Tears for Fears or Human League to speak of—but that doesn't make it any less sweet. Mixtape Table designer Jeff Skierka writes:
This coffee table is a 12:1 scaled replica of a cassette tape. It is made of reclaimed maple, walnut and lucite. Dimensions are 47.25”×30”×5” with a 3/8” plexi top. This is a first prototype and one of a kind table. Future versions will be CNC machined out of high grade plywood with a variety of ply combinations and a glass top. This table has been an obsession of mine for 5 years! It is amazing to finally have it come to fruition. The table is completely reversible (sides A and B).

We're holding out for the VHS conference table...

I despise this kind of novelty product. Whatever happened to creating classic designs that last lifetimes rather than five minute blogosphere attractions?
Put me down for (1) please. I have a man cave / studio that is screaming for such a piece of art as this!
Nice to make people remember the good old days
