Slice cloaks sharp, ceramic blades in a series of safe, household-appropriate, and especially design conscious handles. Founder TJ Scimone takes us through their line up of star designers and demonstrates their latest utility knife, a U-shaped box cutter that's both ergonomic and protective.

Maybe I'm being dumb, but I've never seen anyone cut their fingers on the same hand they're holding the knife with. Typically its the tip of your finger on the other hand that accidentally went over the edge of your ruler... Am I missing something here?
@cm I thought the same thing. Severe cardboard paper cuts maybe?
In a warehouse environment where thousands of boxes are opened daily, it's not uncommon for an oversized packaging staple (sometimes used for additional closure to shipping cartons) to rip someones knuckles open like a can of tuna, which is why many warehouses require employees to wear protective gloves during the opening process. Talk to an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager sometime and you'll be amazed over the "truth is stranger than fiction" accidents that occur in a shipping and receiving environment. We are very proud of the fact superior design can result in reduced injuries and better quality of life.
Thanks for your support.
