Core fave Marijn van der Poll has introduced the Modular Car, a concept where car companies provide a running chassis covered in foam with the cusomer as the coachbuilder. (The car is then glassed with resin and glassfibre cloth for strength.) I'm not sure I'd count on the safety part, but now you can play the part of those TV commercial car guys shaping bodies out of clay. (They still do that, don't they?)
