What was your inspiration for using plastic?
Ravi Sawhney, CEO-President of RKS Design - The parameters were there in front of us. The guitars were heavy. People were expressing neck and back problems - professional musicians from years of playing some of the heavier guitars. We knew that the uses of the tone woods were endangering the rainforest. With the open architecture concept, we saw a way to get the weight and exotic materials out of the guitar while creating new aesthetics, new ergonomics, and new tone - just giving us the full benefits.
