I've come across this organisation before, and admire their aims, and the enormous creative oportunities come across when continually experimenting with one material. It would be nice to get some feedback as to what the organisation are doing regarding the downsides of using pvc, such as the reported emmission of hydrochloric acid under some conditions?
Please don't be a shill for the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers. I might suggest you read "Deceit and Denial: The Deadly Politics of Industrial Pollution" (California/Milbank Books on Health and the Public, 6) by Gerald Markowitz and David Rosner. I'm not sure if the pretty PVC forms outweigh the death and destruction wrought by PVC's manufacture and use...
Something as hazardous as PVC can hardly be pretty. Is time to get ride of it instead of keep finding ways to make it part of the enviroment. Hello!
