UK plastics recycling organisation Recoup has published guidelines for designers and specifiers to plan recyclability into their packaging.
These guidelines focus on the design of plastic packaging to facilitate recycling. This guide has been supported by a range of international trade organisations. Check out the free publications Plastic packaging: Recyclability by Design (under 'Recyclability By Design') for tables on all major polymers stating which material combinations are compatible in the recycling chain.
