In the tradition of their Defects of Deco glass and utensil project, 5.5 Designers have created another half-object: a stool "supplement" that supports a pillow of your choice, allowing the user to have some input in the final appearance and decoration of the object.

The Tab stool consists of four identical, notched profiles that fit together to create a concavity, needing only a pillow to become a proper sitting surface. We like that the subtle consideration of the support (shallow curve, easy assembly, leg orientation, stackability) doesn't overpower the overarching gesture of the pillow.

The stool will be available in the 5.5 Designer's online store from July 15th onwards.
