After touring 16 cities around the globe, the Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament is holding their Global Championships tonight at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. 48 winners from past tournaments in the categories of 2D, 3D and Motion Design will be competing against each other for prizes and bragging rights. As with past tournaments, all mouse clicks and tapped commands from designers' workstations will be fed to the audience in real time.

Judges include Core77's own Allan Chochinov for the 3D competition, alongside Andrea Rosso, Kevin Lyons for 2D and Stephen Price for Motion. Check out the candidates here, here and here.

Tickets are $15 ahead of time and $20 at the door, but if you're not in New York, you can watch live on the webcast.
