Design-It-Yourself is a new Ellen Lupton book to help plain folks like me avoid the unecessary time and expense of working with skilled designers. I'm especially amused by how poorly written and badly laid out (Hello? Typography? Punctuation? Caps? Bullets?) the page is. Hey, wanna look like crap? Buy this book!

Steve, are you talking about the papress.com page or the book's mini-site? (@ http://www.papress.com/designityourself/index.html )
huh. usually the contributors here are pretty much in agreement with the peeps over at CH. Ami Kealoha seems to think it's a fairly useful compilation. Could you elaborate a little? Are the ideas or execution bad, or are you just a format nazi?
Thanks,
D.
