Imagine 19,000 screaming school children running amok at the ITP, and you'll get some idea of what NextFest was like for the past couple days. The displays are nicely spread out, and everyone is walking around with smiles on their faces. On the downside, the guides are spotily informed and there were a lot of system's-down stuff. But that's to be expected perhaps, and you just had to wheel back around again to see things working. Standout was Otto Bock's motorized prostheses, demo'd on amputees who were generous talking about their experiences with the devices.
