Often Popular Science is a mirror to the future, but this time they wanna rep it:
Popular Science is partnering with Sunset in the creation of an "idea home" near San Francisco. The project's focus is future home technology, including design elements, construction materials and cool consumer-tech products. The house, designed by the Dahlin Group, is under construction now and will be open for tours for 10 weeks this fall...
They're looking for designers to submit models to show in their Tech Loft. (Of course it's a loft.) The deadline is July 7th, and the media exposure should be sweet, so click on the link if you think you've got some futuretech hoo-ha to contribute.
