Exciting! Jill Singer and Monica Khemsurov of Sight Unseen have brought designers, design brands and local businesses together to present the new Noho Design District for the first time during this year's New York Design Week. Events include exhibitions, pop up shops, open studios and performances. Nine events, clustered mainly on Great Jones Street and Bond St. between Lafayette and the Bowery, will kick of on Saturday night, creating a festival-like atmosphere in the neighborhood.
Areaware will celebrate its 5th anniversary, Roll & Hill will debut first lighting collection, The Future Perfect will present new furniture, Stephen Burks of Ready Made Projects sells gently-used objects from designers personal collections, and more. We'll preview each of these events individually, so be on the lookout.

Comments
As a resident on the Bond st., I was not informed of this event.
Another noisy party in the street?
From: Wisher-for-quiet-residential-block resident
I'm wondering why people would move to the middle of downtown Manhattan (on Bond Street no less) hoping to find a quiet residential block, especially on a Saturday evening.
