
Nothing like a good repeat client, Prada have signed up Rem Koolhaas again to transform an early 20th-century industrial complex at Largo Isarco, in Milan, into the Prada Foundation's new headquarters.
...The new facility, scheduled for completion in three years, will house multimedia laboratories in addition to hosting a vast range of events, from concerts and cinema festivals to symposia on architecture and fashion.
Plans are to add an auditorium, a tower and an exhibition building to the existing seven structures and courtyard. Why is it that these kinds of projects seem to be constantly realized in Europe and not the States?
