While researching tools, we found this photo of a large pneumatic drill on Flickr user mbeldyk's page; s/he thought it might have been used to carve the Crazy Horse monument in South Dakota.

We couldn't confirm that, but we did find some amazing photos of Crazy Horse's face being blasted into the rock with explosives, and his head is about four times the size of Mount Rushmore.
