Taking a cue from the Freitag playbook, BMW has cut out 32 patches of the main sail from the USA 87 boat and mounted them on frames. The company is now auctioning the items, with all proceeds going to the Que Chido foundation. Unlike Ebay, this is a silent auction, and you have no idea what the prices are for each piece. Something tells me it will be higher than the 10 euros starting point. The auction ends on July 7, so get your bids in soon.
