Ever been stuck behind a semi on the highway and missed your exit sign? We're digging Art Lebedev Studio's Transparentius concept, which mates a simple idea with existing technology in a clever way: Cameras mounted on the front of a semi transmit the image to screens on the back of the truck, rendering a sort of virtual transparency.

I'd have to call this one a failure.
It's an expensive solution for a problem one only has if they're not driving properly. Nobody should stay that close behind a transport that they need something like this.
So how do you correct for the position of the observer, and render the image properly?
People keep talking about "cameras on one side, screens on the other" invisibility, but nobody's ever explained that part to me.
