The worst part about shooting home invaders is having to get out of bed to grab the shotgun. Well, that's no longer a problem with the The Back-Up Gun Rack, which provides a convenient and easy-to-install bed-mounted solution! Now you can fill invaders with two barrels of buckshot without even having to sit up!

Seriously folks, you have to see this commercial, which gleefully informs you that the product "[enables] access to your shotgun while in the lying position in your bed!"
The only possible way to improve this product would be to make it somehow hold beer.

I would have at least fashioned the bracketry into a rebel flag outline... where was ted nugent when they were picking spokespeople???
I can think that this would also keep your 12ga. pump action at least a little warm. I mean, if you're going to dispatch a burgular or scare those neighbor punks who are coming into your yard again, do you really want your hands to get cold? I thought not. In for two. One for me and one for the missus.

Two great products: the shotgun rack for your bed and the 870 Remington Express Magnum. Charles Bronson sits up out of grave, nods and winks approvingly.
It should be mounted under the covers in the middle of the bed on a folding locking quick release single unipod. So I can push forward to rack a round, pull back to lock the round and lift and lock the unipod and then fire one handed with no recoil, and with one hand rack another round and proceed to fire again and again...
If you can't defend yourself, you are a victim.
Now I know what to ask for for Christmas.
I LOVE 2 statements on their website...
First, they state clearly that this product is made in the USA, as if anyone would doubt something like this comes from anywhere else in the universe.
Second, they state the shipping lead time as 4-6 weeks, indicating 4 weeks is the earliest possible ship date and 6 weeks is the latest possible ship date. Then they add: 'Maybe sooner'

My favorite line of the commercial... "get up now and call the number on your screen." Apparently their target demographic spends a disproportionate amount of time in bed watching TV.

Although I completly support the second amendment and castle doctrine, this seems like something only a paranoid dope addict protecting his meth lab would need.
I think gun racks should always be mounted high in the bedroom (with door locked when your sleeping) and out of the reach of children, besides you want to be awake enough to know it's an intruder and not your wife.... don't you?

Does anyone else find it a tad unnerving to have a weapon, intended to "spray" buckshot nonetheless, facing the head of the bed only to be held by two, glorified coat hangers? Besides why not just keep it under the bed; I'd rather be able to roll out, use the bed as cover, and grab instead just laying there vulnerable, reaching. And no, I haven't constantly thought/ rehearsed this myself:)

I think I know a safer way to use this product. Get the gun rack, Put a cheap shotgun in the rack, put a metal plate under the carpet next to the gun, ground the metal plate, now connect a wire from a 100,000 volt electric fence transformer to the gun rack, now spin your bed around so the intruder will see the gun when entering the room. It's 99% guaranteed that the idiot will grab the gun first and will never know what hit him.

At the end of their ad it says "Not for use in homes with children." Yet if you go to their website, the 1st picture in the header is a family with two kids. Man those kids will never find the shotgun when it's cleverly hidden under the comforter! P.S. Let's kick it up a notch and just make beds that ARE guns.
