you could opt for a 32 inch lcd screen tv with monitor capabilities for almost a grand less.
While I agree with the boost of productivity, I wonder about the strain placed on the eye that results from spending 5-6+ hours a day staring into the brilliantly bright void presented within the frame of a cinema display.
I recently purchased a 23inch cinema screen, and while I have appreciated the massive increase in productivity and vibrance of the works I have been creating with it, my eyes have started to feel like they might be falling apart.
