Never mind ring tones, it's time for repel-tones: as of this week, South Korea's SK Telecom will let cell phone users download a tone to that repels mosquitoes. Cost is roughly $2.50, and the tone can be activated manually through button presses.
(This is not to be confused with the mosquito ringtone, the one that "parents and teachers can't hear.")
Anyone who's spent a summer in Seoul knows this thing will get millions of downloads. And anyone who's spent a summer in New York will wish they had a downloadable tone that repels underdressed hipsters.
