Start-up DesignGO! Studio (you might remember the Splat doorstop from a few months back) has added a new design to its repertoire--the Dog Cage, a more stylish solution to effective crating. The cage looks as if someone took the classic steel wire cage and literally smoothed out the corners and edges resulting in a less-harsh bubble shape. The cage includes a bed pan/pad that fits into the floor of the cage and a zip-off wool "sweater" cover for chillier times of the year.

One of the primary design features in a a dog cage, which is ultimately used for transportation, is the handle... and I see none. The photo could be deceiving on my monitor, but it doesn't appear so. Assuming one would grab the metal mesh for a handle, a caged (read, pissed off) Bruno has an excellent chance to dine on five of your little sausage fingers for an afternoon snack.
Love the spin on the old wire "classic". Its wonderful how a sleek design can be created using the same material. Are there any plans for larger breed dogs?
