Australian industrial designer Luke Klinkenberg's amazing Electric Nomad is a regular guitar that breaks down for travel. Now you can rock out until you, or your guitar, collapses.

But can you get any decent tone out of it?
As a guitarist TONE above all else matters when it comes to choosing the right guitar. While the invention is novel the need for it might be overestimated. I, for one, never wished that my guitars collapsed so I could put it in a suitcase.
Still, I would be interested to see how the inventor worked out the mechanics to not mess up with the guitar set-up.
Haven't you posted on a folding guitar before? I think it was designed by an airline pilot.
