Featured Project : bald bowls
Now serving: Brain Food! More after the jump.

"Bald Bowls is an interactive process where bald men cast each other's heads in plaster, then slip cast them to create bowls in the shape of their bald domes. The event grew from the therapeutic sessions of bald support groups and includes art therapy theories. By creating something together, bald men can get connect with each other through a unique process, and have an artifact to show for it in the end, which represents their acceptance of balding. In a feedback survey, one participant wrote that “a group of bald men having their heads molded or sharing in a common activity ... and celebrating their baldness could be very cathartic for some people that find it (balding) difficult.""
