Hewlett-Packard has launched their 2007 "Mobile Innovations Tour," which will visit 12 cities in the Asia-Pacific region (today's is Singapore), showcasing product concepts for the year 2012. Items on display include a wristwatch "wireless gateway" device with an external, flexible display, a digital wallet that's "always connected," and a coffee table that turns into a video display.
"Out of integrated complexity will come disintegrated simplicity," is HP's motto for the Tour.
"Anyone can make the simple complicated--true creativity lies in making the complicated simple," says Philip McKinney, VP and CTO of HP's Worldwide Personal Systems Group. "HP's vision of the future of mobility is a world where insanely simple devices inter-operate to deliver a cohesive, always connected lifestyle."
