The New York Times tells us

Ever wonder what to do with all of those mismatched Tupperware lids and containers in the pantry? Consider making a lounge chair. Or perhaps a new dress. Those are just a couple of the creations fashioned out of the venerable plastic containers in response to a Tupperware-sponsored design contest.

Tupperware's chief executive, Everett V. Goings, who is known as Rick, will announce the winners this Wednesday at the Time Warner Center in New York, where they will remain on display through Oct. 28. The contest is part of Mr. Goings's push to update Tupperware's image.

He has had some unsolicited help from celebrities. The rapper Ice-T, appearing on Conan O'Brien’s show in August, acknowledged attending a Tupperware party and declared it "O.G."

"I had to ask what that meant," Mr. Goings recalled.
