Edward Tufte would probably hurl looking at these ridiculous chartjunk-fests. Have you read any of his books?
Gary, you stole the words right out of my mouth.
These "infographics" are pathetic, the funny thing is that the enthusiasm of the designer is obviously to communicate important information, but the execution seems to be inspired by a desire to induce seizures in the observer.
I agree tufte would not like these but I think richard saul wurman would - what do you think?
