While working as a short-order cook in college, my hands were desensitized to being burned. Similarly, those of us using MacBook Pros are probably used to the hotspots irradiating the heels of our hands.

Intelligels is trying to solve this one with a series of on-laptop Lycra and SoftGel wrist rests. Despite their tacky colors and absolutely awful website--it looks like their Art Director forgot his glasses that day--we're curious to try out their products, which look reasonably priced ($20 range). Anyone have any firsthand experience with these?
