What I wouldn't give for a tool like this! Designer Jinsun Park's Color Picker concept is a magic marker loaded with tiny ink cartridges and a color sensor. Use one end of the device to scan color samples, then the other end can immediately spit out like-colored ink for drawings and renderings.

I think there is a problem: the ink cartridges should be CMYK, not RGB!
RGB inks? Somebody hasn't learned about additive vs. subtractive color models yet!
Very similar to the MIT IO brush done back in '04 - http://tangible.media.mit.edu/project.php?recid=31
Love the idea this would draw with actual ink and not just digitally though!
Besides the RGB/CMYK thing this is a neat concept.
I don't agree with this wacky "Sky Mall" form factor. Something more honest and playful is needed. Maybe something reminiscent of an eye dropper would be interesting...
The awesome of this project is the invention of the RGB ink!! Stunning!!!
cool
once they work out the cmyk/rgb issue then you can have fun running it over neons and iridescents and watch it freak out.
