If you've been waiting to buy a power drill and/or impact driver, now is most definitely the time: CPO Makita is offering an insanely cheap deal on their reconditioned 18V drill-and-impact-driver set.
For about $220--the normal individual price for either of these tools--you get them both along with the charger.
We can highly recommend this set as we own it and have used it extensively ourselves (although we paid about $100 more). Both tools come with auto-on LED lights to illuminate your target, both are well-balanced, the compactly designed impact driver fits in the tiniest of spaces, and the rapid charger juices up quickly. The picnic-style carry case is completely fugazi, but with the $100 you save you can buy all the toolboxes or belt-holders you want.
