As spotted in The New Yorker: Gunsmith and engineer Jerry Baber, an expert on the production method of investment casting, designed a fully automatic and recoilless shotgun. His AA-12, as he calls it, essentially combines the rapid-fire of a machine gun with the destructive force of a shotgun. As it turns out, the lack of a jarring recoil makes his weapon perfect to mount on flying robots.
