This jet-setting crocheted character, also known as Misio, started simply as one of Madoka Muno's university projects and has since "reproduced" to create a lively community for many Misios and their owners. The gallery is a hoot and harks back to those touristy garden gnome photos, but Misios seem a lot more travel-friendly.
The objective of MISIO is to create a global community of Misio parents. It is to encourage people to share their Misio experiences and stories with other people from around the world. In other words, Misio tries to observe how imaginary characters evolve over time, reflecting human desires, behavior and trends on various cultures.
