With the ecologically responsible homeowner in mind, Matsushita's released a new digital color-screen power and electricity consumption monitor under its National brand. Little animated penguin characters assist you by letting you know how efficient or careless you've been with the juice. The Lifinity ECO can also be used as a home alarm and costs about $2,700 (whoa). Unfortunately, this beaut is only available in Japan...Boo Hoo for us!
