Every once in a while I'll spot a tool I need, and then I see the price tag and say "Yeesh, well maybe someday if it goes on sale." Then I forget all about it, until the next time I need it.

In steps a new blog on the block, Tools.com, whose sole purpose is to alert readers of deals and discounts on tools as they become available. Lately they've been going nuts with notifications on tool giveaways and sweepstakes by the likes of Bosch and Makita, as well as letting you know who's offering free shipping and who's throwing in a free impact driver with a purchase. And, of course, keeping you appraised of markdowns. Check 'em out here.
