If Jackson Pollack had driven a BMW Z4 Roadster, perhaps he might have first conceived of the project devised by artist Robin Rhode:
Rhode used an all-new 2009 BMW Z4 Roadster as his paintbrush to create a bold, dramatic, contemporary piece, one of his most ambitious to date. From a tower 30 feet above his canvas, Rhode choreographed the movement of the BMW Z4 Roadster, which was mounted with special paint dispensers behind its wheels, across the canvas, while filmmaker Jake Scott captured the 12-hour process with 45 simultaneous camera angles. Video footage shot by Scott, including behind-the-scenes footage of Rhode, will be projected above the canvas. And, Rhode’s paintbrush (the BMW Z4 Roadster, paint and all) will be on display as well.

The results will be on display from Wednesday, March 25 – Monday, April 6, 2009 at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, 87 East 42nd St. (between Vanderbilt and Lexington Aves.), Manhattan.

Let's just hope they use better music for a final movie version of this. This piano stuff makes me fall asleep at the (mouse-)wheel.
