Pontiac's head-turning Solstice is a particularly rad-looking automobile--surprising that it came out of GM's dusty studios--and now it's got a worthy commercial. Production company Stardust Studios was tapped to create some 30- and 60-second spots for the Pontiac stable, and rather than go with the tired car-on-an-empty-winding-road trope, came up with some eye-popping CGI spots set in graphic urban environments. Thank you for the splash, Rain. Giving credit where it's very much due, this spot was conceived, commissioned and produced by Leo Burnett Detroit's creative director Jeff Cruz, art directors Sanja Dardagan and Kelly McArthur, and agency producer Freddie Richards. Cheers! -- Roger D.
Love the movie. But it's pretty desperating to see again the same arguments to sell the car : "faster! faster! faster!"
looks like scion ads. not groundbreaking, just trying to tap into that demographic.
