Everyone's favorite inanimate lawn creature, the Pink Flamingo, has ceased reproductive efforts due to increases in costs of electricity and plastic resin combined with loss of financing. Union Products of Leominster, Mass., the manufacturer of these kitsch classics, will officially close on November 1st. Could a scarce supply push a rising demand?...perhaps even an eBay phenomenon? Let's wait and see...
