
While wondering the back streets of Vila Madalena, a hip bohemian neighborhood in the Pinheiros district on the western side of São Paulo, I randomly came across this residential building by French-Brazilian architects Triptyque. An external skeleton irrigation system covers the entire building to service plants growing in tiny pockets on the walls.
